Our Staff

All staff at Pawleys Island Child Development Center undergoes extensive training to meet the requirements for child care certification in the state of South Carolina. Teachers employed at PICDC have earned numerous educational credentials including:

• Degrees in Childhood Education or related fields
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) 101 educational certification
• Child Development Associate Certification (CDA)
• SC Health and Safety Pre-Service Certificate
• CPR and Bloodborne Pathogen Certification

In addition, teachers are required to participate in ongoing professional development training throughout the school year.
